Il laboratorio al via! - The Lab has started!

15th of September: almost everywhere in Italy a new school year started and Fisica In Moto laboratory officially begun its didactical activity with high school students.
But the first visitors didn't come from Bologna, neither from Italy: they were the students coming from Lüneburg, 50 km far from Hamburg, 1200 km far from the Ducati facilities! In fact the laboratory is intended for students coming from all over Europe. Prof. Friedrich Suhr, teacher of maths and physics, heard about the Ducati initiative from a German motorcycle magazine and immediately booked the visit for his students. Nowadays the visit for foreign students is only in English, but in the future the guides will show the physics of the laboratory also in other languages.

The students from Lüneburg were partcipating and enterprising: even if they had to speack English, they often asked to try to give an interpretation for the results of the experiences taken on the real Ducati dry clutch, on the low friction wheels, on the desmodromic distribution. The Italian students won't be less skilled, of course!

If you want to visit the lab with your classmates, ask your professors to fill the form in the website
